NITROGEEZERS > Jerry Ruth looked right at home in his old Top Fueler. Bucky Austin purchased the '69/70 car last year and put it in fine shape, as he has done and is in the process of doing the deed on a number of other cars. The Eagle Electric swoopy car is one and he has also obtained the "Sweet Sixteen" double inj. Chev. car of Keilland, Weiss & Verheul, which ran in Top Fuel here in the Northwest. This car was originally the Warren, Coburn & Holloway single-motored blown Chev T/F'er, bought by the afore-mentioned Renton, Wa.-based team. Wayne King says he thinks the car should be restored to the W,C&H specs, but I hear that Bucky will do the two-motored deal. Hey, it's his car, he'll do what he wants to do, huh?
NITROGEEZERS > Herman "Northwest Terror" Petersen cackles his 392 down the Pacific Raceways track and across the starting line prior to the Final Round at the '05 CARQUEST NHRA Northwest Nationals. Russ Griffith dragfoto
NITROGEEZERS > As Wayne "the Peregrine" King pushed down for the "Cackle at Seattle" he stopped at the starting line to shake hands with old pal, Rick Stewart, the NHRA Official Starter. It was just prior to the Finals of the '05 CARQUEST Northwest Nationals at Pacific Raceways, Wa. Russ Griffith dragfoto

NITROGEEZERS > Just like old times! Jerry Ruth in Bucky Austin's re-creation of Jerry's last front-motored car and "the Northwest Terror" himself, Herm Pedersen, were side by side and both easing forward to get the best view-point. That is view for the fans, not them! Russ Griffith dragfoto
